Willow tit - Grimsbury res, Banbury
One Willow tit seen along the canal moving towards the woodland plantation and then heard a couple of times in the Hazel scrub around the north west corner. Later another (or probably the same one) seen well and calling several times along the hedge beside the canal north of the woodland. First I have seen of Willow tit there since the end of September and even then only one bird was definate but hopefully there is still a pair.
Only other species of note was Siskin with several flocks seen and the biggest being c.20 and several flyovers of 1 to 10 birds.
