Otmoor 16th December
Great starling display tonight between 3.35 and 4.05. estimated 70,000+ birds in the roost.
Woodcock 2 out of Morleys 4.35
(per Terry Tossell & Ron Louch)
The walk to the first screen takes twenty to thirty minutes from the car park and the paths can be muddy so wellingtons are recommended. When the Starlings do decide to 'dance' it can be anytime from 15:00 on wards. Weekends can be busy and the car park is small so, if possible a visit during the week might be preferable.
