Starling Roost
No great aerial display this evening
but an estimated 35,000 birds arrived
for the roost between 16:00-16:30
(per Terry Tossell & Ron Louch).

They can usually be seen well from the first viewing screen. It's about 20-30 minutes' walk from the car park and if you aim to be in place by 16:30 you should get a good view if they are performing.

The paths are starting to get a bit muddy,
so walking boots or wellies are advised.

There's a pdf map of the reserve via this link: www.rspb.org.uk/.../otmoor_tcm9-260974.pdf -
hope you enjoy your visit.
