American Golden Plover Port Meadow 2nd Nov
American Golden Plover
No further sign since about 2pm of the 2nd for Oxfordshire congrats once again to Adam.
13:00 still present and in fact there's a second bird now present which has turned out to be the "grey-toned" golden plover from a couple of weeks ago (see
here). (
per Badger & Lee Evans)
10:30 The
AMERICAN GOLDEN PLOVER is still present and has been seen again in amongst the plover flock. Apparently the flock is calming down more and has been settling on the ground though it's still rather flighty
(per the Wickster) European And American Golden Plover09:15 The Plover flock has apparently been circling around for two hours now without settling so impossible to tell if the bird is still there or not.
(per Badger)07:50 No sign of the American Golden Plover so far on the Meadow though apparently the flock is very flighty
